Barbaro at the Preakness?
When Barbaro broke out of the gate at the 131 Preakness, did they even look him over well enough? I mean, if a horse broke through the gate they should've not of even had them race but of-course they're so desperate for a Triple Crown winner they have to race the Derby winner (that was undefeated).
What do you think about this? Do you think Barbaro breaking out of the gate effected him? Do you think the vets looked him over well enough... or do you just think it was that miss-step he took?
Well for me, I guess that day Barbaro was acting weird too. Because he arrived 1hr 30mins late and then Barbaro broke through the gate then shattered his right hind leg. Do you agree with me or do you think I'm just thinking way overboard?
I was a HUGE Barbaro fan. I'm just so mad they raced him! He would still be alive today and be running in probably more races and haveing very fast colts.

Well, according to his behavior earlier in the day and when he broke through the gate, someone should have realized something was wrong. However, it's just one of those things and you can't see the future. I think most people, if had been in the same situation, wouldn't have thought much of it and had Barbaro race. I know I would have.
